The Gladys Reid Holton Best of Show Award
is given in honor of our founder. Gladys was the Curator of History of the Rochester Museum of Arts and Sciences (later RMSC) in the 1950s and 1960s. She was president of GVQC from 1936-1939
SPECIAL PRIZES

The Margaret Fahey Art Quilt Prize
is given in memory of past club president, Margaret Fahey.
Margaret’s passion for keeping our club’s history alive and legendary powers of persuasion in getting members to volunteer were only eclipsed by her creative output.

The Peggy Tuttle Appliqué Prize
is given in memory of past club president,
Peggy Tuttle, whose appliqué mastery is legendary.

The Best Hand Workmanship Prize
is given in memory of Barbara Stoner, a past club president and author of the “In the Spotlight” articles in the club’s newsletter between 1992 and 2012.
